Mr Malfoy, with all due respect, we both have very different styles of parenting. Just because you may not agree with mine, it does not mean that it is necessarily wrong. The same can be said about what I think.

But, nonetheless: Why would it be wrong if I give them that impression? Children are filled with endless possibilities. If they believe enough that they have the ability to change world, chances are they do so. In fact, they already do so by merely existing.

Because if you do, and you don't believe it to be true, wouldn't you be lying to them? The world will do that enough, will it not? Do they need that at home to?

I need to ask this because otherwise I will overthink it, and frankly I am already doing so with other things as it is. I have never understood that. "From people like you"?

Just because I did not mention it on the list it does mean I do not believe in that statement. And, like I said, what I listed is what applies to myself. Not necessarily what I teach my children.

If my statement is true? No. I do not know. But just because it does not apply to me it does not mean I have not seen it happen to someone else and therefore I believe that my children are capable of the same.
