Remus watches Harry carefully and takes in every word. That angry tone, that simple shrug. Something clenches as his concern heightens, but he remains calm. His expression doesn't change, his brow doesn't furrow; first he's planning on listening and trying to find out what he can.
Quietly, "There is nothing wrong with panicking. Cedric saw Luna under water, but you saw both Sirius and Luna there. It's... There is nothing to be ashamed of, Harry."
His brow furrows then, but just barely. "And you are not the bait. Bias aside, and that desire to keep you safe aside, you are strong enough and your magic is strong enough to be a part of this competition. The tasks are just...not meant to be easy. But you got to them, and you got them out."
